HELP my Oscar is sick.

Right now I don't have any test strips and I going to get some in the AM. But my Oscar is not doing well. He is not eating at all, and he is swimming backwards. He is in a 150 gal. tank.

At one point he ate food and then spit it back out. He is like 4 years old.

When was your last water change? I would start there.

I changed the water last week .

Before dosing any meds I would get accurate water params. Since you're unable to do this currently, I'd change the water just in case. Have you introduced anything new to the tank within the last few weeks.

Nothing new to the tank.

Sounds like Hexamita to me. I'd start treatment immediately with Metronidazole in the water and Epsom salt solution which should be administered to a fish via a pipette. Just make sure to use a flexible tip so as not to damage the fishes esophagus when squirting the solution down the fishes throat.
