Help please

I found these little bugs in my cichlid tank. They are white and move on the aquarium glass like slugs

Agreed. Most likely a sign that you're feeding too much and not vacuuming the gravel enough.

My jack Dempsey has been lying on the bottom of the aquarium and not moving unless I get near the aquarium then he starts to move. Could this be that they got into him or something

Also I saw that my jack Dempsey / Texas hybrid had on on his fin and he waved his fin really fast and it flew off

What are your water parameters at? If water levels are good with you stock list I would guess it's due to aggression.

Size with these fish is sometimes irrelevant in terms of temperament and aggression.

Check the water levels to be sure they are in check, then watch their behavior.

I had the same issue. Those are probably parasites. Raise your temp to 82 and they'll be gone in a couple of days.

Remember, your Cichlids prefer and even require warm water. Keep it at 82 and they'll be happy!
