Help! What breed is this?

Hello all! I've had this "yellow lab" cichlid for about 6 months now. I'm starting to wonder if my LFS was wrong. My fish doesn't have the black stripe on the dorsal fin and is still small (about 3.5 inches now). Also my fish is quite territorial and aggressive (more so than other labs I've had in the past). Anyone have any ideas on what type of cichlid mine is?

Hmmmm looks like an mbuna an electric yellow but without the black stripe, the lab also had the black stripe let me search a bit longer

Agreed with HUKIT, however, just remember that not all yellow labs have the black dorsal stripe.

Also, cichlids are described as species, not breeds. Breeds notate different morphs within the same domesticated species (dogs, cows, cats, etc)
