Help with my brand new peacocks please

I just recently got tired of my Gourami's and gave them all away. I wanted some more colorful fish and my local fish store suggested some peacocks. So I went ahead and bought like 4-5 different peacocks (Still very young and small). I put them into my 90-120 Gallon Tank (Rough Estimate) and now I really have no idea what to do. What other nice fish should I put in with them later on? I wanted to put in the Psuedos but people told me they are too agresive and will kill my peacocks.
Also, should I just simply feed my peacocks flakes? My tank is pretty huge compared to these tiny fish. Will that also be an issue as the tank is tremendously huge compared to the fish. Will they just come and eat some flakes if I put them in? So far they haven't ate but maybe it'll be different tommorow. Or perhaps I'm feeding them wrong food?
Thanks, Just started raising these new peacocks and hope to keep them all alive!

What size is your tank? The 90 gal or 120 gal? Take the measurements and put them into the calculator at the link at the top of the page. It will tell you how big the tank is.

What kind of peacocks are they? You can mix the Mbuna's and the Peacocks. I have them mixed. But you have to watch what you put together.

I feed a mixture of foods: Pellets, flake, peas, zuc, and so on. The tank size being large compared to the fish is a good thing, you won't have any adverse effects because of it. Pretty soon you'll have it fully stocked and will be wishing you had a larger one.

Don't feed them tomorrow, let them go about 48 hours without food. Then feed and see how they do.

BTW, what are you current tank paramters? (Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate, pH, temp) How long has the tank been setup?

Who thnx for the immediate reply. I did a measurement and site says its about 134 Gallons. I wasn't being exact in my measurements so I'm guessing it's prob a 140 Gallon tank or 130. Honestly I have no idea what kind of peacocks they are. They have these long names so I just call them all peacocks. =) All I know is one is supposed to have red on the top. Tank has been running for over a year now but just did a 30% water change several hours before putting peacocks in. Hope that didn't hurt the peacocks. Peacocks are the only guys in the tank right now.

Will take your advice on the 48 Hour feeding! Besides the Mbunas, any other fish that will work well with peacocks? I like the Mbunas but am afraid they tear up my peacocks. Thanks!

You really need to get an idea of what kind of peacocks they are. Some peacocks can be really aggressive, and some are not. You can add some mbuna's like the yellow labs or Acei's. They are less aggressive.

Why don't you go to your lfs and see what they have in stock, then come back with the names. The availability in your area will also determine what you can keep.

My peacocks eat now but they don't tend to swim up to the top to eat the food. Instead they swim around until the food all sinks to the bottom and then they begin eating it. The fish still get to eat either way but I prefer them to swim to the top as the other way is getting very messy. I've been feeding them flakes. Any ideas on what one should do to teach the fish to come to the top. They just wait for food to sink.

Try sinking cichlid pellets. Thats what I feed mine and they love them. Just make sure not to overfeed.
