My problem is getting them to feed. Unless the food hits them in the snout they do not eat. They usually are hiding so it's hard to get frozen bloodworms or brine shrimp to fall on them. Any suggestions?

mine would not eat for about three days once they moved in. Now they can tell it's feeding time generally when prepare and come up. I've had them close to a week. Flakes for now. I tried the small omega one cichlid pellets and they are too big for them still.

rams

they are just a sensitive fish let them adapt to their new home... make sure you have old biological filter media with a lot of bacteria in it... these fish a sensitive the more good bacteria the better.... i feed mine twice daily they come to the top of the tank when i walk near it :D
