Saw a great looking Texas cichlid. Thinking about getting him and putting him in a 55 long with a polleni, delhezi bichir and a fire eel. I heard South Africans can be with Central American. This true?

Neither of those are either a Central American or South African FYI. Polleni are Madagascan, an island of the east coast of Africa, and Texas are actually North American and into Mexico, so I guess they're sorta Central American. Just wanted to make that clear
