how do i sex a maingano?

I have read about them and the only thing I found was the mating ritual or "venting" ? I bought only one and I know I should have 1 male to every 3 females but I'm not sure which one i have, would like to keep adding to m 55gallon

Just like labs the males and females are the same so venting or seeing them breed is it

Like just said. Male and female mainganos look alike. The only way to know is by venting.
