I recently added a new led light the other day, been running it pretty steady. Now I have these brown spots growing, I'm assuming algae? Will it go away, also what are a few fish I should get that can feast on it?
Diatoms perhaps?! Have you added new sand recently?! If it is algae I would leave it, IMO it makes the rocks look more natural. However if you don't like the algae look shorten the photo period of your tank and/or do more water changes to remove the excess waste that can contribute to algae growth.
I wouldn't, simply because you shouldn't add a fish to combat a problem that's caused by an imbalance in the aquarium. Plecos add a high bioload and typically do a mediocre job at eating the algae.
