How big is he? I'm leaning towards cyanoguttatus but something looks off with the pearling. Possibly a hybrid or a little stressed.

I agree, something is up with the head shape as well. The color is a little bright for cyano though, which is why I was leaning more towards carpintis

Definitely a herichthys species, or hybrid involving one of the herichthys species mentioned above
