Injured FM

So my FM decided to eat one of my Otto cats last night. Usually doesn't bat an eye to guppies but must've been feeling frisky last night. He had it hanging from his mouth last night but has since spit it out. It looks like he can't close his mouth now and one of the spikes must've punctured his mouth bc there's a red dot on it. What should I do?

Just keep the water pristine. It's also pretty irresponsible to keep ottos with larger cichlids. They can easily get caught in their mouths/throat and kill the cichlid. Buy a bristlenose if you need a sucker catfish.

Yep, anything that can fit in a cichlids mouth will do eventually. Likewise anything helpless like Guppies, they are on the menu for a later date!!

You'll have to feed him some soup till it gets better.
