is it ok to put a striped peacock eel or a ghost knife with a Oscar i just do not want to spend that much money on one and have it just be a snack for my Oscar "Thor" and will they leave my eclipse catfish and my pleco's alone

I think the eel will stand a better chance than a ghost knife. They like to stay buried and tend to feed at night.

I do have to agree. It's really not big enough for the oscar to be happy.

how big will the eclipse catfish get in that size tank ?

I believe around 5"..not completely sure on eclipse. I would get rid of the oscar though or upgrade tanks. If neither are possible your oscar will either be misserable or his growth will stunt which will lead to an earlier death than normal
