Male, you might get some responses that say female because it looks like it has a pink belly (sign of a female) but I think that is the reflection of the substrate. The dorsal fin and black spot looks male.

Yeah I'm agreeing with Rivers, it looks like a male. The belly looks a little pink but that's definitely just the reflection of the gravel.

I agree, looks like a male to me too. Dorsal fin is the best tell from that angle.
