I've got new babies

So I just got a breeding pair of cockatoo cichlid (triple reds) should I equip my tank with anything special for them

They are cave spawners and they will appreciate a small clay pot or something to that effect. They also like driftwood and plant cover (real or fake). They are not what I would consider to be a demanding species to keep.

Excellent. I have no idea what you need. Perhaps a small cave and a peice of slate? Please let me know how it goes with them. I am very curious.

I have Rams. One pair has spawned a few times but the eggs were eaten by the female on each occurance (I think). I added more fish and have a couple more pairs. I am hoping that I will get some offspring sooner or later.

Good luck,
Julie
