I plan to get a 36 gallon tank for some jewels. What else can I put in there?

How many jewels? Are you trying to brreed them?

I'm uncertain as to how many. I wouldn't mind if they ended up breeding.

They get a little big plus are very aggressive when kept as a breeding pair. I have heard bad story's of people trying to keep others with a pair while breeding.
