So I did my first water change and tested water.

Ammonia -0.25ppm which is same as tap water
PH -8.2
NITRITE - 0
NITRATE - 10

Seems like things are going well. No lost fish. I think replacement water was too cold but fish seem to be happy. I gave them a snack right after the change and they were quite active. I read that if water is too cold they will huddle on bottom of tank.

Out o interest did they huddle there? I'll get the mollies hang around the heater over winter, particularly after a water change but that could just be a favorite spot.

No huddling. After change they spread out over more of the tank. It is quite cool now as fish are all over instead of just on one side of the tank. They were on the side away from the heater at first. I moved the heater to the sump. Will do water tests and possibly another 10% or so water change tonight or tomorrow.
