Kenyi cichlid

My Female kenyi cichlid has a bloated vent hole and it looks infected and maybe another fish was nipping at it. I have her in quarantine right now but what should I do?

Please help it's getting much worse! What should I do? What ever is coming out of her is like flaking off and going to the bottom and there is a good amount of it considering she was put in quarantine less than 24 hours ago.

I would try adding Epsom salt. It works as a laxative for fish and might help her pass out all that junk. Dosage 1 tablespoon per 5 gallons.

If she is still eating you can also try de-shelled peas. That should help to clear her out.
