I'm thinking about keyhole cichlids as my centerpiece fish, but I have some questions, sorry if I go on and on here;) first, is it ok to just have a single fish, the tank in question is a 35 gallon, is this too small? The current fish I have in the tank : 1 bnp,1 striped peacock eel, 1 rosy glass barb and 3 gold barbs. Do these make good tank mates? If I need to rehome some/all current fish, I can. What is the breeding ratio(male to female)? Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.
