Ive got one breaking pair and a single female in my 75g.. Would it be okay to introduce another male in hopes to creat another pair

What kind of chiclid ?
In any case, they usually dont pair
3 to 4 females per male is usually god!
Depending on what chiclid you have, more than male of same breed in a 75g tank may be questionable

You can try it but it is not a definite that they will pair. Kribensis are Fine in pairs and do not require multiple females per male as their eastern cousins do. Kribensis are riverine African cichlids where as rift cichlids are from Tanganyika, Victoria, and Malawi

Totally helpful, thank you so much.. I accidentally added another female.. This made the Alfa feel obligated to destroy both other females.. Guess she loves her man
