All things being equal, who is at risk of greater damage: the one held by the lower jaw or the one held by the top of the mouth?

The one been held by the lower but usually equal damage with scraped mouths, nothing major. Depends what species too, some are worse than others.
 
I would try split them up if possible. They are quite big guys and could damage each other.
 
They've settled down now. They will all be moved out of that tank in a week as I'm replacing it with a brand new one. I think those two are ready to breed, so I'll put them in one of my quarantine tanks when it becomes empty.
