Male Labidochromis caeruleus

Hey! This is my first post on here

My friend is getting rid of his aquarium, he has a lovely looking male Lab and I was wondering if he would be able to get on in my 210 litre aquarium? I know people say not to mix South American Cichlids and African but surely they have been bred for such a long time in captivity that the water parameters are not too important? It is full of rocks and drift wood so he would have places to hide etc.

Any advice would be amazing!

I wouldn't do it, the water quality isn't the only thing that falls into play. Aggression is different between old and new world. Many people that have mixed tank eventually go one way or the other after seeing.g it for themselves
