Hey!

I just read this in the newspaper and thought how said it was! London Zoo is trying to find a female Mangarahara cichlid to breed with their two males. They are extinct in the wild due to the building of a dam. They found one in Berlin Zoo however it was also a male!
I know it is a wild shot but does anyone know of someone that may have one?!?!?

Here is a link to the article:

Thanks!

I've seen this article a few times now and what a shame that so many species of cichlids and other fish for that fact been affected by the devastation and destruction caused from deforestation, pollution, agrochemical run-off, overfishing, global warming, and political unrest, all to the great misfortune of those fishes that remain in their natural habitats. Another reason to support the C.A.R.E.S Preservation Program.
