so how much does a mating pair jack dempseys go for, im thinking of selling my mating pair.

There is no standard price for a "mated pair" of jack dempseys. To be honest, there is no such thing as a "mated pair" of anything. Especially large aggressive cichlids. If they spawned in your tank and produced viable fry then conditions were right and they were compatible for that period of time. But as any cichlid breeder knows, things can change. And if someone buys them from you there is no gurarantee that they will spawn or even get along for that matter. So it would be dishonest to sell them as a "mated pair". What you could do is post them as an adult male and female that have produce viable fry. In either case there is no standard price, they are only worth what any one individual is willing to pay for them. Bill
