I have an electric yellow that is displaying all the classic signs of carrying eggs in her mouth but it has been about 12 days since I noticed. But she will not release them so she won't eat and is not very active. Is this normal? When should I separate her from the rest of the tank? How long does it usually take for them to release their eggs

Yes it's normal. She won't release the eggs when she spits them out they will be fry
Do you have a egg tumbler?

No I do not have an egg tumbler? What is the purpose if this? I have only bred convicts! How long does she keep the eggs in her mouth? I want to get them separated as I have a 125 gallon set up and don't want the other cichlids to eat them
