My golden severum

Hi can anyone help me,I have just bought a golden severum when he/she? arrived he was a creamy white colour I've now had him for about 3 weeks and he's turned like a dark grey with a peachy red tint on his under side. Is this normal

I'm sure there's some variation, did they send a photo before they sent it? I'm guessing it came shipped?
mine are a pale lemon yellow. my male has a little dusting of black, almost like he's dirty.

We never really know the history (parents) of fish we get and as they mature they start changing colors a bit.
Another factor that could make the fish change coloring has to do with their surroundings, gravel color etc. Stress can also darken the fish a little.
BTW he looks well fed ?
