I came home this morning from class to find my male German Blue Ram acting funny. He was hiding out in this thicker part of plants in my tank. I was worried because for the last week or so my tank has been in the upper 80's since I was treating for ick and I thought I might be losing him or something. I really thought this after I fed the tank and he didn't come out like normal. On closer inspection I saw a bunch of tan colored eggs that he is defending!!! I am so proud of him. Now my questions...
Are the eggs supposed to be this "tanish" color?
How can I get food to him? Or should he be okay?
If they eggs are okay, and none of my other fish decide to try and eat them, when can I expect fry?
This is sooooo cool! I figured my two rams had no interest in eachother or that someone I had a very feminine male. Guess not!!! Woohoo!!!
