Need help with aggression

I have cristmas fulus 7 in the group 3 males 4 females, 2 sp 44s, & a red flank in a tank and everyone is at war. Can i add some mbunas to help break the tension? I know i need a few more rocks and hiding places but i didnt think the aggresssion would be so brutal between them. Any ideas or suggestions?

I'll be honest I've only kept Vic's a couple of times including pundamilia nyererei and in a community set up the males beat the day lights out of each other. It didn't make a difference on how many fish I had or how the tank was set up. I ended up giving each species their own tank with only one male. Otherwise with two males the same fights continued.
