New 50 gallon tank w blue convicts- any advice?

Just set up a fifty gallon tank with two female blue convicts and one male. (I am hoping they breed). Would I be able to put some sort of algae eater in the tank with my convicts? Any advice for this newbie?

i think for convicts you want 1m and 1f. im not sure on adding other fish. a bn pleco would prob work. convicts get really aggressive durying breeding.

I have a Chinese Algae Eater with mine and they (the Convicts)basically ignore it....But I have the tank space for when it gets big....smaller than Common Plecos and tough enough do deal with Convicts.
