New 55 gallon tank stocking advice?

My sis just gave me her 55 gallon tank and Ive always wanted a Malawi cichlid tank think I'm going to go for it my questions are how many can I do in 55 gal and what breeds will get along?

In a 55 I would stick with the smaller end of mbuna under 5". You'll have to research the fish that's available to you and then look up profiles for each fish note the size, aggression and witch lake they come from and build a list off of that. In other words you'll want all Malawi the same aggression and a little size. Then you can ask us if these fish are ok together because some are listed as mild aggressive and should be more.
