I've just put some new bulbs in my tank and I have to say it makes a massive difference. I went for the same colours as the old ones but it definitely needed new bulbs. All the colours on my fish stand out 10x more

Yes different kelvin rated bulbs makes a huge impact on décor and fish, I always use a mixture of rosette(650nm) natural white(6k), and 10k Aquaticlife T5HO bulbs.

Well I have a day glow and ice white there the t8 ones and I know your recommended to change the bulbs every 12 months but I just always thought it was another way to make some money out of you but the difference between the old and the new bulbs is unreal
