I have a red zebra female and a kenyii female holding.

My questions would be;

With the new fry whats best... a breeder net/box or to just get a small tank and put the holding female into the smaller tank on its own?

As far as the tank... whats best?
Could i get one of those small 8 gallon kit tanks and be ok or should it be a 20 gallon type tank?

I know the bigger the tank the better as far as the fish being able to grow to their environment but anyone who has good experience with success feel free to shout it out!

When i kept africans and i had a holding female i would wait about 21 days and catch her out. I had a 10 gallon set up specifically for this. The female would spit the fry out within a couple days. Id leave her in with they fry for a few days to let her rest up and get some food. Then it was back to the main tank with her. Use a sponge filter for the fry tank, or else they make get sucked into a regular filter. I would feed the fry crushed up cichlid pellets or flakes. Good luck with your fry!
