I've been feeding my cichlids a flake food and wanted to switch to NLS would the nls all purpose flakes work just as well as the cichlid pellets?

How do you get them to switch over mine are so used to flakes they don't take pellets when I try to switch

I've honestly never had any issues switching between food for my fish. Try not feeding for a few days then offering the pellets. Flakes are alright but I wouldn't use them as a staple.

NLS makes good flake food. I use NLS Optimum Community Flakes (with garlic) for my tetras. For my rams, I incorporate NLS Thera-A pellets (1 mm). My four-month-old GBRs take both readily.

I have a 3 inch jack dempsey and she is so used to flakes every time I put pellets in she swims away

Would 2mm pellets be too small for my jack dempsey it says it's for medium fish?
