NW Cichlid community

Picking up a 240L 4 feet wide tank next week.

I would like to try start a south American Cichlid community. But getting mixed messages every where I look in regards to compatibility.

Any suggestions or advice would be great. (I also have 2 BN catfish to go in)

I'll just go by levels.
1. Easy-rams
2.Medium-Angelfish
3.Hard-Discus-needs higher heat, around 30
4. You need a larger and and bigger fish: Oscar
