oscar tank size

Yup it sure can I would only put one in though they get to be 12 inches. They grow an inch a month
 
110 Gallon is the minimum recommended for 2 Oscars. Also, good filtration and water changes are a must.
 
I would recommend a 75 for one or two oscars. They can grow to 15" or more if cared for properly so a 55 is too narrow, so a 75 would be minimum for one. With enough water changes you can keep the water quality high enough to have two in a 75.

Those are parameters that you control are fine but when mixing two fish that happen to complete for food and territory this changes hourly...this is when the fun and the wet floors start.
 
Im actually getting a 90 gallon with a stand for 50$ is that big enough
