nice tank my friend very nice

Thanks mate. It took a lot of convincing the wife to let me have that big tank and now that I have it all set up I want a bigger one to house the all the malawi cichlids and use this tank to start up a Tanganyikan cichlid tank. Guess I just need to brush up on my sales pitch techniques and do some smooth talking

55g convict tank. There is a large tinfoil barb I think in there, they leave him alone. He was a rescue my son brought home. Most pals kids bring home furry creatures, mine finned....

I think it looks great spoor. What size tank? Rocks are awesome.

It's 125 litre. I want to get a 180 litre corner tank eventually.

140 g Malawi tank. Think I posted this one previous.

Second is our lil green puffer babies tank

your tank is beautiful! i am starting to plant my tank heavier. the thing i was wondering is how you vacuum the gravel when it's heavily planted. i am also using java moss and that will eventually cover some of the substrate. can't figure out how to vaccum with all the plant roots and stuff. any advice would be appreciated. thanks.

FK26- I love shell dwellers! They are so fun to watch. Best of luck with your breeding project! :)

giggalz and jpchin- Thank you so much for the kind words... but our aquascaping skills pale in comparison to many on this site.

jpchin- we do not need to vacuum our gravel because it is mostly sand with some fine grained gravel mixed in (CaribSea Super Naturals "peace river"- love it). Detritus does not really settle into our substrate. Basically all we have to do is hover the Python over the substrate and get the detritus stirred up a little bit, then Hoover it out. :)

My tank.....

Awesome Tracie. That is 55g? What kind of lighting is on it?

I just picked up a 55g cichlid setup and was looking at upgrading the lighting.
