Update on my tank
First off, I know that I have fish that don't normally go well together, but its my tank so all your aquarium purists that are going to yell at me for mixing south americans with africans, tanzanians, Victorias, and Malaysian, please keep it too yourself.
Some fish I keep at my own risk, some I expect will have to be removed as they mature, and some I got simply because they said it couldn't be done.
Anyway here is my wonderful aquarium:
2 Electric yellows
3 Demasoni
2 Pundamilia Nyerei
2 itungi "red cap" lethrinops
2 Rainbow cichlids
Red peacock
Chitande type masinje peacock
Jack Dempsey
Hap. electric blue
Chinese algae eater
2 Rainbow sharks
2 bala sharks (these will be sold when they reach 8-10")
6 australian rainbow fish (will most likely get their own tank in a year or two, but they are fast enough to hold there own, and they liven up the upper level of the tank, as most of my fish are bottom/middle dwellers).
Equipment: Marineland Penguin 150, Fluval Aquaclear 70, ADA 21w "green killing machine" uv sterilizer, Aqueon Modular LED w/ colormax bulbs. Aqueon 100w heater. 4 air stones, tetra 4 way whisper air pump.
Substrate is caribsea cichlid mix, the rest of the tank is filled with rock caves, and other hollow cave like ornaments, including a broken down helicopter (top right) mix of Aqueon and marineland artificial plants.
So there you go, any comments, questions, feel free, (unless its to say that my fish don't go together, I know, its my choice.)
