Post your malawi set up pics here!!!
Hi. I currently have a 33g Malawi cichlid tank however I am going to transfer to a 4ft 65g tank in the next couple of weeks. I want tips and ideas on a new setup so please leave a pic of your Malawi tanks on here. There's a few pics if mine below. Cheers.

I see some fish from lake Tanganyika in that tank that shouldn't be mixed with Mbuna.
One looks like either a Neolamprologus tretocephalus or a Fronstosa.

It's a frontosa. I know I should nt mix them but I really liked it and know a few other people who have got them with malawis and they ve had no problems. The only problem I do have is all new fish are getting killed in my current tank. I'm putting this down to an aggressive aulonocara, hopefully he ll settle down in the new tank or I may have to give him up.

I really like this design. This is probably close to what I'm gonna try in my new tank. However I'm gonna use ocean rock a decorative pieces.

Had a quick look at your profile pic. I take it's a pic of your sunshine peacock. It's stunning. I had one of those I'm my tank but was killed by another aggressive peacock.

I use black blasting sand. Love it! The cats love chasing my tanks. They get going on the chair in front on the 6 foot and fall off lol. My dog puts her nose on the tank then watches them and licks the glass.... Lol... My tanks are entertainment for all!!

2 week old 60 gal. Still working on hiding spots and plants. 2x37 gal tanks with Dempsey in one and tiger Oscar in the other. There's a 100 gal aquaponic upstairs feeding basil, oregano, and mint but it's just duckweed and comets.

Yep, that's sunny the sunshine peacock. I'm gonna have to either rehome him and his lady or get them their own tank. My fuelleborni male has been picking on him.
