questions about blue ram and bolivian cichlid

First question is if they're able to breed together? Second question is how can you tell the gender of the cichlids? Third question is what can I do to get then to breed?

They probably could breed with one another. Most people would frown upon it since you would be creating hybrids that can muddy the bloodlines.

Females usually have pink belts, males have a long dorsal spike. In blue rams the spot on their side should have no individual blue sparkles in it. Third I would advise against mixing the species
