Alright so i have a 55g cichlid tank with 6 fish, peacock
2 electric yellow dempsey
african super vc-10
blood parrot
t.duboisi

Is it possible to get more? If so what do you recomend?

I wouldn't recommend getting any additional fish at this point and instead try to figure out what kind of tank setup you want to do. I'm not sure I could have put together a stranger combination of fish if I tried. I would revisit most of these fish selectons.

You have New Worlds and Africans mixed together (and multiple lakes at that), which is not the best idea. You have a hybrid and an "Electric Yellow Dempsey"? You got a picture of that?

If that is some variant of a Jack Dempsey, you'll also have a long-term overstocking issue.

I'd decide on which fish in the tank is the most important to you and use that as a basis for coming up with a re-stocking strategy. I hope its not the BP.

Agreed that is one wacky selection of fish.If it works out I will be amazed.It really is best to stick to the same continent and even the same region or lake.
I also would love to see a picture of an electric yellow jack Dempsey.Never heard of one of those before.

number 3 on the yellow jack dempsey. ive seen this blue and what some people would call normal. ive also seen some that are darker in color but not yellow. im not an expert but im always looking up fish for no reason at all and havnt run into that one yet.

just googled it, you can find it under gold jack dempsey. first time ive seen it. not bad looking.

My bad, i added the dempsy by mistake its they are yellow electrics , here are some pics
