Red/brown algae eater?

I have a 2mo old 70gal Cichlid tank with a Gold Nugget Pleco. Problem is, I have this reddish-brown algae outbreak that the GNP seems to have zero interest in.

I'd like to move him to my wife's 55gal community tank and get something more appropriate for mine.

Whatcha think?

I would get a Bristlenose plec, stays fairly small and devours diatoms.
