Hey guys I have been out of the cichlids for some time and just started stocking my tank 3 weeks ago. So far I have.

2x yellow labs
2x electric blue johannis
1x rusty
2x bumblebees

I am planning on stocking bigger peacocks to raise with the smaller Munba.
Plenty of rocks and filtration and added swimming space for the peacocks
55 gallon

You do realize that bumblebees get 8" and are very aggressive right? The Johannis while only 4" or so are also border line hyper aggressive. I would go back to the drawing board and do some serious rework on you stock.

Really. Thanks. I have had them in a tank together for 6 years in my old tank. And worked just fine. But I know you know what you are talking about so I will be rehoming them soon. Thanks.

All depends on the mix of fish and the individual temperment. May have just gotten lucky last time.

This is true. So what do you think is best right now. They have been in for about a 6-7 mnths now. Do you think it's best to rehome them or wait and see what happens.

No aggression towards the little blue kenyi? I have no luck with different sized cichlids.

None at all. They all range from size. Big ones in last. Couple months ago. That's how I help the aggression. Actually the acei has sort of adopted it in a way lol. She escorts her thought the tank and make sure she gets food. It kinda cool.

Neat! I love the kenyis, they have plenty of spunk themselves.

Yes. I had a 125 for breeding Kenyis and the female had BEAUTIFUL colors. And patterns. And they had their little attitude.
