Sand or gravel? For tiger oscars

Hello im in the process of setting up a tank for a pair of tiger oscars the last thing I need is gravel or sand wanna get some advice on what oscars prefer thanks in advance much apreciated

Mine have gravel, they spend a lot of time moving it around

Mine always had gravel, however, I would stick to the smaller gravel...the bigger stuff gets kind of loud when its being spit at the glass...lol

Sand! Mine is hilarious when he goes to the bottom and flicks his back fin in it and it goes flying everywhere. He looks so mad when it just settles right to the bottom lol.
