Seachem Cichlid Trace

the kid at the LFS tried to convince me to buy Seachem's Cichlid Trace for my Malawi tank...

i did not pick it up, i hade never heard it mentioned before

does anyone here use it?

my water is very hard, and ph =8.0

I haven't used it either. but i've heard of it. it may have some value, but i feel its not absolutely essential for maintaining malawi tanks with hard water from your tap. regular weekly pwc's are enough to maintain the trace element levels in your tank.

that is what i figured (my water is liquid rock ) so i will not worry about it.
