Question?

For my 150gal African tank I am running a wet dry filter with bio-balls and filter foam.

I'm also running a fluval 404 canister filter with foam.

I am placing Seachem Purigen into the chambers of the fluval 404 canister filter and I am using way more than whats required for the amount of gallons.

My question is, can I continue to use ammo chips?

If I can use ammo chips, should I place them in the sump of the wetdry or in a chamber of the fluval canister?

Thanks

I use purigen in my fluval filter but I don't use any ammo chips but I don't think it would matter if you put them in the canister filter.

It shouldn't be harmful to use both. My question would be what problem are you trying to solve with all this chemical filtration?

I am overstocking my tank with African cichlids so I want to be able to keep up with them
