Sore on side of fish.

i noticed a sore with a bump on the side of the fish. I moved fish into the quarantine tank. It appears to be a bacterial infection. He received 3 treatments with kenaplex and salt.
Is there anything else I should do?
How long should he remain in the quarantine tank?

The pictured bump might be viral. Research Lymphocystis to compare.

Ok. Is it contagious?

I don't think so. It's not a fatal disease, just ugly. Sort of like a coldsore. The only treatment is clean water and good nutrition, allowing the affected fish's immune system to knock out the bug.
