i have finally decided to attempt to make a styrofoam for my 48 uk gallon bullet shaped aquarium

has any body got any tips on how to do this as the tank is up and running with fish in it and has been for quite a while, could o not just lower the tank to half full and put it down the back and glue just at the top for instance or do i physically have to move them all to another tank?

also as i have ocean rock i would probably require a light background rock styrofoam or does anybody have any idea what it would look like with a light on dark pics would be great

here is a layout of my front room with the tank demonstrating my ideas

i also would like to known what would be the best ways to create a breeding cave for my mubuna

and if any body on here lives in the uk and would be interested in some free fish to let me know but they would have to pict them up of course

1: would i have to leave it for a week running or will it just mold into the tank fine and i wont have to move my fish, my idea is to have the pump in the middle of it to hide that away some where
2: how thick would the styrofoam have to be to accomodate caves and what not

i have been thinking a bit more and need peoples advice, because this could become expensive

basically would it be benificial to do one of the following
