Went to Eldora today looking for cichlids that like hard water and will thrive in my 40 gal breeder. Saw some one inch ink fin calvus that I loved, but to small to sex. Then I saw two pair of Alto Sumbu shell dweller dwarf comps, love at first sight! What a awesome fish! Without giving a deposit they will hold a pair for me untill I get my stand back and the aquarium up and running! I have two hob filters on my 20 long so I shouldn't have much of a cycle on the 40 breeder when I add the seeded filter media over. I am super hyped about this, but will not rush into it. These guys are already maybe two inches long at least, nice size and not a long wait for full breeding size. Not sure if Multi's ( shell dwellers ) will work with these?
