Swordtails And Angelfish?

My mom likes some red in tanks and one of the fish that caught her eye was some red swordtails. I currently have 4 angelfish in my 46 gallon and I was wondering if I could put maybe 2-3 swordtails in there. Would there be any chasing and tail biting. Last time I tried putting a red Betta in there and the angels wouldnt stop picking at it.

i don't thing swordtails would be a problem, but my mother-in-law has platies in her 30 gallon with 2 angels and they don't pick on them. Platies are pretty too and peaceful. You could also maybe try some pretty loaches. I like the clown loaches becuase they are active and colorful.

I had red coloured swordtails in with my angels and didn't have a problem.

I've had sword tails and angels together as well and had no problem. My angels are rather peaceful so far.
