Tanganyika startup

Started a shellie tank. Have some nice lacy rock with nice size holes for the tenants to reside in but wanted to add a bunch of shells as well. Is there a way to treat saltwater shells so I can use them or am I going to have to let the moths out of my wallet and buy some shells?

I have never done it but I would just try boiling them. I would do one first to make sure it doesn't crack or whatever. Imo

What I use for my Shellie's are escargot shells, they were really cheap on amazon I think a box of 30 was a few dollars. But I just boiled them and mine seem to love them!
