ive got a pair that were sold to me as tangerine zebra's.

however i cant find info on them anywhere, all i seem to find is the red zebra.

is there a difference, and what is it?
from my own untrained and clueless observations, i *think* my tangerine zebra's have the big black eyes where the red zebra has the usual silver?

my male is a beautiful bright orange, the colour is more vivid than in the female.

im trying to find a 2nd female after one died a few mths back, but all i find is the red zebra ?

thanks hukit,

so if i put red zebra's in with the tangerines to get a good m/f ratio, will their fry be cross breeding or still the same species (pure bloodline)

Same fish, just a different coloration so your not really crossbreeding in this case. I have four or five color variations from bright orange with red fins to much paler washed out orange with blue fins even in juvies.
