Would yellow labs be okay with labidochromis hongi cichlids?

WIth cichlids it's a bit hit and miss because they have different personalities.
Generally yellow lab would be ok with hongi IME. I have them together in a tank with other peacocks and mbuna for over a year now with no issue.
How big is your tank?

Thanks my tank is 46 gallons and would I be able to keep 5 of yellow labs and 5 of hongi with 1 male to 4 females?

Generally the minimum for cichlids is 55g.
You might just be able to get away as they don't get very large, 5-6". Be sure to provide plenty of hiding places and frequent water changes, like 30% weekly or twice a week. Other people may chime in to provide some advice.
What are you going to do with the babies though when they breed?
